Process
  • Scoping

    This step entails meeting the client and gathering information. It is crucial since it allows us to understand client’s vision for their website. By understanding our client’s requirement, ideas and goals we can begin to plot out the strategies that need to be taken in order to achieve them. The more information we can gather, the more time we will save during the design process.

  • Planning

    The planning stage is arguably the most important, because what’s decided here sets the milestones and timeline for the entire project. During this phase we try to gather information, including the website goals, the target audience, and any detailed feature requests. In this phase, we will also create a site-map to determine the detailed structure of the website.

  • Design

    We present our clients with two visual design concepts, these demonstrate colour, fonts and placement of all the navigation and content elements. Once the client has had a chance to look over the initial designs, they have the opportunity to provide feedback or request changes. We continue the process of fine tuning the design until the client approves the final version.

  • Build

    With designs approved by the client, it’s time to bring the design to life, during this phase we build all the pages for the website and arrange the website content, including images, text and interactive features. We also complete a full test of the website to make sure it is working as it should. We provide the client with a demo web address so that they may view and interact with the web pages as they are being developed

  • Launch

    We work hard to ensure the launch of your new website runs smoothly and efficiently. We conduct a pre- launch checklist and run through a final set of tests to ensure everything is functional and working correctly. During this phase we will move the website to its permanent web server so that it is available from the client’s chosen website address. As soon as the site has been approved by the client, we are ready to make the website live.

  • Maintenance

    At Pixels Apart we don’t abandon our clients once the website goes live. We provide support and feedback for 30 days after launch to ensure that the website is working correctly. It is extremely important to keep a website up-to-date and maintained so we offer various maintenance and support packages, our support includes phone assistance when needed and ongoing fixing of bugs and error that may arise.
